Previous version: March 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Trade Goblin ("Trade Goblin," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website and services.

What This Privacy Policy Applies To

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process when you use Trade Goblin as an individual user or as an authorized user of an organization account.

In most cases, we act as the data controller for account, billing, support, and product operations data. In some cases (for example, where an organization customer submits and manages data through our service), we may act as a processor on that customer's behalf under contractual instructions.

This policy does not apply to aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.

Region-Specific Disclosures

Depending on your location, additional legal rights may apply. See the "EEA, UK, and Switzerland" section below for additional disclosures.

If you are a California resident, you may have specific rights under California privacy laws. Nevada residents may also have state-specific rights. We do not sell personal information for money.

If you access the service from outside the country where our infrastructure operates, your information may be transferred and processed in other jurisdictions.

Google OAuth and Google User Data

If you sign in with Google, we access only scopes you authorize. For standard sign-in, this is typically basic profile identity data such as name, email, and avatar.

We use Google user data only for account authentication, account management, and user-requested features. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use Google user data for advertising.

We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except where needed to provide and secure the service, or as required by law. We follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models.

2. How We Share Personal Information

We may share personal information with service providers and subprocessors who help us operate the service (for example infrastructure, analytics, support tooling, and billing providers), subject to contractual protections.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce agreements, to investigate abuse, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

3. Control Over Your Information

You can update account information in product settings. You can disconnect third-party identity providers (including Google) in your provider account settings.

You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those messages. You may still receive transactional or service-critical communications.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential operations, security, authentication, analytics, and (where permitted) marketing measurement.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you can manage preferences through browser settings and consent controls. Blocking certain cookies may impact functionality.

5. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and contractual obligations.

We apply technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. International Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers under applicable law.
